As a convention registration chair for two. count them 2 conventions, and most likely a perma-volunteer for Momocon, I have a big plate.
And then I work on top of it all. There is really no time for ME time.
I used to feel that this was my "ME" time. And that it was *JUST* a hobby. I don't feel that way anymore. As the demand gets higher and higher, and as the conventions get bigger and bigger. It's getting harder to divide myself.
I enjoy doing registration because I get to see so many happy faces (Or people PO'd because they had to wait in a LINE LIKE EVERY BODY ELSE OH NOOOOOO), And I enjoy doing silly fangirly off the wall parallel universe videos for youtube, and then don't forget my child L.O.D for the DA crew.
But then comes being an adult and not getting paid for these kinds of things. So I have to work on top of all of that. I'm afraid now that I'm spreading my self so vastly that I'm spreading my self thin, and I'm losing quality in everything that I do.
I really don't want to have to choose. But in the long run as I get older, I think I'm going to have to choose. And I really don't know what to do.
